Who it's for
Alanton Elementary students in grades K–5. All skill levels welcome — first-timers and seasoned players alike.
When & where
Sessions are at the For the Players Soccer Field, directly behind Alanton ES. Please note this is a drop-off program that does not run right after dismissal — students go home after school as usual, and families bring them back to the field for their session. Days and times are coming this Fall, and registered families will get the full schedule before the season begins.
Drop-off & pick-up
Drive to the back of Alanton ES and drop off at the gate, where our staff checks your player in. You'll be handed a number at drop-off — hold onto it. At the end of the session, a staff member walks the players out to the parking lot, where you show your number to pick up your child. Drop-off and pick-up are at the same spot.
What to bring
A water bottle and weather-appropriate clothes. Sneakers are fine — cleats are optional since we have loaners (though we can't guarantee we'll have your child's exact size).
Cancellations
If a session is canceled for any reason, we'll email registered families and update our online calendar.

This waiver covers your child's participation in For the Players Foundation programs and activities, including Alanton Astros Soccer.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that soccer and related activities carry inherent risks — including running, contact, falls, and the possibility of injury. Knowing this, I voluntarily allow my child to participate and accept those risks.

Release

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I agree not to hold For the Players Foundation, its staff, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, or any facility used responsible for injuries or losses arising from ordinary participation, except for willful or reckless misconduct.

Medical Authorization

If my child is injured or ill during a program and I can't be reached, I authorize staff to seek emergency medical care. I am responsible for any resulting costs and have noted any allergies or conditions in the form.

Photo & Media

I grant permission to use photos/video of my child for promotional purposes (you may opt out in the form).

Conduct & Pick-up

My family will follow program rules and staff instructions. I understand supervision is only during scheduled program times, and I'll follow the gate drop-off and numbered-tag pick-up process.

By checking the agreement box in the form and typing my name as signature, I confirm I am the participant's parent or legal guardian and agree to this waiver on behalf of myself and my child. This is not legal advice; the foundation's full waiver governs.
