Every pair comes from a Hampton Roads family whose player outgrew them. That means our shelf changes week to week — which is exactly why we run a waiting list instead of a catalog. Tell us the size and we'll match it when it comes in.

This is the kind of pair we pass along: clean, laced, studs still good. We take in youth and adult sizes from toddler on up, in whatever brands and colors come through the door.
We don't keep every size in stock and we can't promise a brand or a model. What we can promise is that your spot on the list is real — when a pair in your size arrives, we email you.

How the waiting list works.
Every pair we hand out was donated by someone local. That means we don't stock every size — you join the list, and we match you when a pair comes in.

Email us
Click the button below and your email opens with 23 numbered questions already in it. Type each answer right after the colon. Takes about five minutes.

You're on the list
We add the player, the size, and the timeline. If we have a match on the shelf, great. If not, you hold your spot until one arrives.

We reach out
Within 3–5 days we'll confirm your spot and tell you where you stand. When a pair in your size comes in, we email you to arrange pickup or mailing.
Before you hit send
What you'll need on hand
All 23 questions need an answer — a blank one means we have to email you back before you're on the list. Gather these four things first and it goes quick:
- A Hampton Roads, Virginia address. This is the one hard requirement. We're a small local program and we can only get cleats to players here.
- A second contact — required. One adult besides you who knows the player, with their name and an email or phone. It does not have to be a coach or a team — a teacher, school counselor, rec staffer, pastor, neighbor, or family friend all work. We follow up with them before we hand off cleats, so it just can't be you. Please make sure they know you're naming them.
- The player's shoe size, and whether it's youth or adult. Peek inside a shoe they already wear — a youth 5 and an adult 5 are two different shoes, and it's the mix-up we see most.
- A complete mailing address — street, apartment or unit, city, state, and ZIP — plus your phone and email. We ask even if you're picking up, because a pair might not come in for a few weeks and we need to be able to reach you.
Nothing on the form is optional, but nothing is a trick question either. Where something doesn't apply, we tell you exactly what to write instead — NO PREFERENCE, NO RUSH, or NOTHING ELSE.
You must be 18 or older to request cleats — whether they're for you or for a player you're helping. If the cleats are for a player under 18, the request must come from a parent, legal guardian, coach, teacher, or other adult on the player's behalf — not from the player themselves. We can't always match exact brand or model, but we'll do our best on size and type.
We serve HAMPTON ROADS, VIRGINIA only. Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and the surrounding communities. We're a small volunteer program working out of donated cleats, and shipping a used pair across the country costs more than the pair is worth — so every pair stays here at home.
If you're outside the area, we won't be able to help you. We'd rather say that plainly than leave you waiting on an answer. Your city's parks and recreation department or your school's athletic director is usually the best place to start.

A second contact is required. Every request needs one adult besides you who we can reach about the player. It doesn't have to be a coach or a team. If the player hasn't joined anything yet, a teacher, school counselor, rec center staffer, pastor, neighbor, or family friend is perfectly fine — we just need one other person who knows this kid plays. We follow up with them before we hand off cleats. It's the one step we don't skip, so please let that person know you've named them.
If they don't fit: Just let us know. We'll work with you to swap for a different pair if we have one, or arrange to get them back so another player can use them. No stress either way.

All requests are handled privately and with care. We don't ask for proof of income and we don't ask you to explain your situation. The questions we do ask are only there to get the right pair to the right player. Whoever you are, however you got here, you're welcome.

Have soccer cleats your player has outgrown? Donations keep local kids on the field — and they're what clears our waiting list. We accept gently used cleats in good condition, youth or adult sizes, any age.
Before you donate, please:
- Make sure cleats are clean
- Check that studs and soles are still usable
- Pair them up if you can (so we don't separate them)
- Let us know how many pairs and sizes when you email
