Halloween Glow Night

We're raising money for FTP Training

Free pickup gets kids on the field. FTP Training gives them coaching, with sessions led by experienced, background-checked coaches and local high school players helping out. We're raising the money to launch it so every kid who wants to train can, whether or not their family can pay.

What a Friday looks like

It's pickup. No tryouts, no standings, no pressure. Kids get sorted onto a field with kids their own age and they play.

  • Fields by age. Ages 3 to 7, 8 to 12, and 13 and up each get their own field and goals.
  • Someone in charge of every field. Staff in FTP shirts run the games, the subs, and the clock.
  • No cleats? Covered. We bring the donated pairs we have so no kid sits out.
  • A cold treat for every kid. Popsicles at every session.

I started For the Players because I believed kids here should have a place to play. Neighbors, partners, and local businesses believed in it too, and together we've built three fields, signed up 250 players, and kept soccer free every Friday.

Now it's ready to grow, and that takes more of us. The next field, the next season, and the next kid on the field start with neighbors and local businesses getting in it with us.
