For the Players Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Virginia Beach created to expand access to the game of soccer for every child, regardless of background or resources. Too often, kids are sidelined by a shortage of fields, the cost of basic equipment, or the inability to afford opportunities that could shape their future. We’re here to change that.

Our work focuses on three key areas:

• Building Fields – Developing new community soccer fields and improving underused spaces so that there are safe, reliable places to play.

• Equipping Players – Providing uniforms, cleats, and gear for kids who need support at registration, ensuring cost is never a barrier to participation.

• Opening Pathways – Too often, players miss out on college showcases and training opportunities that provide visibility and open doors to the next level of play. For the Players Foundation creates pathways that will impact young athletes now and for generations to come.

• Partnerships - We also partner with other nonprofits to host inclusive events, such as adaptive soccer days for children with disabilities, giving every child the chance to build confidence, communication, and social skills through the joy of play.
