Score More Goals
For Schools & Communities
Score More Goals™
A community-driven project designed to increase access to safe play areas, physical education, and connection through soccer and movement.
What It Is
Score More Goals™ helps schools and communities transform open green spaces into safe, inclusive areas for movement and teamwork. Each site receives guidance and support for adding soccer goals, wellness activities, and family events that encourage outdoor play and connection.
- Anchored soccer goals sized appropriately for school or community use
- We work with the city on placement guidance to ensure safety and maintenance access
- Community and sponsor recognition opportunities
- Physical education and recess activity cards featuring low-equipment games
- An equipment bag with soccer balls, cones, and pinnies for inclusive group play
Low-equipment games are inclusive activities that use minimal gear—such as a few cones, a soccer ball, or playground markers—and focus on teamwork, movement, and creativity. These games are designed for grades K–5 and special education inclusion, offering easy ways to stay active with what schools already have.
Why It Matters
Recess and play support physical, mental, and emotional health. When communities have safe access to goals and open fields:
- Students and families gain opportunities for teamwork, focus, and confidence
- Teachers and youth leaders see smoother transitions and improved engagement
- Neighborhoods have shared spaces that promote inclusion and well-being
- Local partners strengthen connection through visible community investment
It’s not just about soccer—it’s about belonging, movement, and collaboration.
Impact
Each participating site reaches hundreds of individuals annually, generating thousands of minutes of active outdoor play and measurable wellness benefits.
- Expanded access to structured and unstructured movement
- Safe, shared spaces that promote inclusion
- Visible sponsor partnerships that inspire civic pride
- Scalable model adaptable to different communities
The long-term result: more active students, engaged families, and connected neighborhoods.
