A New Soccer Goal Is Coming to Alanton
Free for students and the neighborhood to use
For the Players Foundation is donating a high-quality soccer goal to Alanton Elementary to support everyday play, physical activity, and access to the game. The goal will be selected in coordination with the school to ensure it is age-appropriate, safe, and well-suited for daily use on a natural grass field.

We’re excited to partner with Soccer Zone to make sure cleats never become a barrier to playing the game. When you donate a new or gently used pair, you’re helping more kids step onto the field with confidence—and feel like they belong.

Cleats for Kids
Help Provide Soccer Cleats to Youth Players in Need
Providing cleats is simple and makes an immediate impact. With just your Amazon account, you can purchase a pair directly from our Amazon Cleats Wish List, and they’ll ship straight to For the Players Foundation.
Most cleats cost $20–$50, making this one of the easiest ways to support a young athlete.
Cleats are distributed locally to youth and teen players in need through trusted coaches and community partners.

We include a range of cleat sizes based on common needs identified by coaches and community partners. This includes children’s sizes as well as men’s sizes for older youth and teen players. Cleats are distributed to youth soccer players.

For the Players Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Virginia Beach created to expand access to the game of soccer for every child, regardless of background or resources. Too often, kids are sidelined by the cost of basic equipment or the inability to afford opportunities that could shape their future.
Our work focuses on four key areas:
Community Play Spaces – Our nonprofit focuses on turning unused grass areas into active play spaces for kids. Instead of building entirely new fields, we provide soccer goals and equipment that immediately transform existing schoolyards and community spaces into safe, reliable areas for recreation. We prioritize underserved schools and communities where funding for athletics is limited, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to play, grow, and belong through soccer.
Equipping Players – Providing uniforms, cleats, and gear for kids who need support at registration, ensuring cost is never a barrier to participation.
Opening Pathways – Too often, players miss out on college showcases and training opportunities that provide visibility and open doors to the next level of play. For the Players Foundation creates pathways that will impact young athletes now and for generations to come.
Partnerships and Events - We welcome support from businesses, organizations, and community partners of all kinds. Together we can help strengthen our schools and expand opportunities for students and families through this initiative.
