Alanton Elementary School
Pilot Site
On the playground at Alanton Elementary, kids don’t just run — they chase dreams, laughter, and each other. This fall, Alanton will be the first site for Score More Goals™, with anchored soccer goals turning empty grass into a real field. Teachers will receive Goal Cards for short bursts of movement and mindfulness, helping students reset during the day. Families will be invited to after-school play nights, creating connections that reach beyond the classroom.
Alanton represents the starting line: safe, daily play for students, tools for teachers, and a community that’s stronger together.

Beyond Alanton, more schools across Hampton Roads are preparing to join Score More Goals™. Each new site will receive anchored soccer goals, Play & Pause activity cards for teachers, and family wellness events designed to bring communities together.
For every school added, hundreds of students will gain a safe and reliable place to play. Teachers will have simple tools to build teamwork and focus, while families will discover new ways to connect.
The vision is clear: classrooms that are calmer, recess that’s more active, and neighborhoods where every child has a place to belong.
